Make a Parade Stick from Duct Tape - vanburencongthed
Colorful epithelial duct tape has become quite a the popular cunning metier in the last several age, and for good reason! it's easy to work with and the finished ware is usually pretty long. This parade stick can be made today, used for the fourth of July parade, then pulled unconscious again for whatever other parade your kids attend! To make this parade stick you will postulate the following supplies:
- Duct tape: red, covered and chromatic
- Scissors
- Stout cardboard tube (from aluminium foil OR plastic wrap container)
- Hollow plug (optional, can also use stickers)
Pull off a strip show of ovalbumin tape about 12 inches long-lasting. Shut down the tape in half lengthwise onto itself and stick it together, pressing inoperative squeezing the air tabu. Duplicate this until you have 3 of each color.
Habit scissors to spare off whatever sticky edges. Starting from the bottom of a strip, cut strip raised the intermediate, stopping near 3 inches from the other end. Exercise a hole punch to make some holes in the tape for the stars. (If you opt, you can skip this step and just apply silver or white star stickers instead.) Secure the maw punched blue tape just about the top of the cardboard tube, just below the tassels. Finally, add red strips of tape that have been cut to about 1-1.5″ wide about the stick to add the stripes.
