How To Clean A Super Puff

SUPER PUFF WASHING

Hi everyone!!

Has anyone had any experience with washing their super puff and have any tips? I'm planning on washing mine this weekend and even bought dryer balls so if you have have any tips or tricks beforehand feel free to let me know! Would you also suggest I follow the instructions on the tag or is there another way you found works better?

If possible I would honestly just spot clean it with a soapy cloth. I don't doubt that it's fine to machine wash, but I err on the side of caution and just budget in taking it to the dry cleaners when absolutely needed!

I washed it on the delicate setting and made sure to put it inside out. Instead of using the dryer, we hung it up to dry in the basement (or in the shower if you don't have a basement). Hope that helps!

Make sure you dry it right away after u wash it or else the feathers will all stuck together and it will be hard later on to make ur puffer fluffy again.

I hand washed mine, then put it in the dryer on delicate with dryer balls and a towel! I had to keep it in there for more than one cycle, but the dryer on low or no heat definitely helps fluff it up a ton. Sometimes I even throw it back in the dryer on no heat with a towel just to re fluff it after it flattens out a little from wear.

I was at Aritzia yesterday with a friend who was buying the super puff & someone who works there said to wash in the washing machine and then put it in the dryer immediate. Do not air dry because often the goose down feels dry before it actually is and then your jacket is more prone to mold and bacteria. Hope that helps!

Make sure u only use a down washing detergent. Ive always used grangers and have zero issues. The key thing is to dry it immediately in the dryer with the tennis balls to puff them up and prevent mildew buildup

I'm about to throw my super puff in the machine now. The tag specifically says NOT to dry clean. I can't really spot clean as the collar, pocket flaps and zipper area are showing general soiling. Here I go!
